Laminate vs Hybrid Flooring | What’s The Difference?
Transcript:
Hi, Ian from Parrys Flooring Solutions here.
One of the biggest questions we get at Parrys from our customers is about hard flooring and the different sorts of hard flooring you can get, especially our floating floors.
Now, floating floors come traditionally in the old laminate which has been around for about 40 years. It comes in timber looks and is much cheaper than real timber. It has a click system that joins together each board and is easy to install. It comes in great colours, scratch resistant, and are very durable floors.
The new kid on the block is now the hybrid flooring. Hybrid flooring looks exactly the same as laminate, comes with all the same decors and clicking systems. It joins together easy so you can do it yourself and being waterproof you wet these floors as much as you want.
It’s wrapped in vinyl, made with a solid composite structure inside. Fantastic flooring.
So at the end of the day, if you’re interested in any of our floating floors, come down to one of our Parrys stores. Ask our experts about floating floors, laminate versus hybrid.
